The high quality raw materials are produced along the coast from Caen in France to Rotterdam in the Netherlands:
The other countries producing raw materials do not benefit of the temperate climate that linen needs. Flax grows best in France and thus the fibres get stronger. The regular alternance of rain and sun in summer enables good retting, while the moderate rains in September and October allow to gather fibres in good conditions.

The raw material is still selected in France and partially delivered to Poland to be spun and then come back in France in the form of linen yarn. Most of the time, deliveries of yarns are organized from Bac Saint Maur, where the headquarters and logistics center are located. |
